This five volume commentary of the Holy Qur’an is an English translation of the commentary of the Holy Qur’an by Hadhrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, the second head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. 

This commentary is a unique masterpiece that provides an excellent exegesis of the the Holy Qur’an that delves into its profound knowledge and wisdom. Although no commentary can ever claim to encompass the final interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, the manner in which this rich treasure has been prised open by an author who had deep insight into the meaning of the Holy Qur’an, has certainly set the standard by which all future commentaries ought to be judged.

This extensive work spans more than 3,000 pages and comes in an attractive box set that can claim pride of place on any bookshelf. It is an invaluable source of information for any serious and discerning student of the Holy Qur’an and in fact of religion more generally due to its extensive footnotes that cross refer other scriptures to provide a compelling and comprehensive commentary.

The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam is the translation of one of the outstanding books penned by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

The original was written in Urdu in 1896 and it has since been translated in numerous languages. The English translation was done by none other than the renowned jurist Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan.

It tackles key fundamental issues in a masterful manner and features the following five themes:

1. The physical, moral and spiritual states of man
2. The state of man after death.
3. The object of man’s life and the means to its attainment.
4. The operation of the practical ordinances of the Law in this life and the next.

This book examines various economic systems that have been used by different societies. It explains the benefits - if not superiority - of an alternative system based on the principles laid down by the Holy Qur’an.
